Being hand finished, fully jointed and traditionally made, he’s a much a ‘collectable’ as a toy he probably won’t appreciate having his soft mohair coat ‘washed’ in baked beans, or his beautifully stitched nose coloured in, so his place is in a supervisory position on a bedroom shelf until children are old enough to care for him. But he’s the kind of loyal soul you can always confide in, someone who’ll always care, whether you’ve had a tiff with your best friend or been dropped from the football team. Here is a bear that is quite perfect in every way, right down to his little felt paws and the trademark Steiff button in his sweet little ear.
