Try the Olympic sport of Fencing. By taking a private fencing lesson you'll learn the art of attack, self-defence and counter offence, all the while preparing for a sword fighting duel with your instructor. After a safety briefing and an introduction from your fencing coach, you'll warm up with stretches before your instructor demonstrates the 'en guard' position, the lunge and basic techniques with the foil. Then it's time to turn theory into sword fighting action as you take your stance and practice those swashbuckling moves. The highlight is of course, an adrenalin-fuelled battle with your instructor!
